Meet Trent Pike and Jimmy Siemers, the two dads behind North Idaho Stump Grinding.

Long before there was a business, there was friendship. Countless conversations, shared projects, family adventures, church together, laughter around campfires, and a mutual desire to build something meaningful for the people they love most.

The machine beside them has earned the nickname "Goliath." It's powerful, hardworking, and ready for the toughest jobs North Idaho can throw at it.

But the real story isn't the machine.

The real story is two fathers who believe that hard work still matters. Two husbands who fiercely love their wives and children.

Two homeschool dads who are passionate about teaching their kids that entrepreneurship, responsibility, integrity, and service don't just come from books—they're learned by doing.

Our children are watching this business grow from the ground up. They're seeing what it looks like to take a leap of faith, work with excellence, solve problems, serve customers, and trust God through the process. We hope they're learning that with faith, determination, and a willingness to work hard, they can build something meaningful too.

This business was built on prayer, friendship, and a shared belief that God was leading us in this direction. We don't claim to have all the answers, but we are committed to honoring Him in the way we serve our customers, treat people, and conduct our business.
